Husband Training -
How to Deal with
your Husband's Farts

fart Tired of your bedroom smelling like an outhouse? Time then for a little husband training!

First of all, realize that your husband is a MAN, and that men fart - there is NOTHING you can do to change that! However, the two of you will have to compromise a little on this one: you will have to accept the fact that he farts, and he will have to come to the realization that he is no longer a bachelor, and needs to be considerate of you, his wife (and your nose!)

That being said, here are a few husband training pointers for you:

Beano pills for preventing gas
  • Feed him some Beano pills before he eats gassy foods (foods that have complex carbs in them like veggies, beans, and grainy breads, etc). Beano contains an enzyme from a natural source that helps the body digest these kinds of foods, which results in less gas later on. I've tried these wondrous little Beano pills, and believe me, they work!

  • If he needs to fart in bed, ask him to quickly leave the bedroom and do it around the corner.

  • If he can't make it out of the bedroom, ask him to at least aim his bum out of the bed, away from you!

  • If he needs to fart while you're eating a meal at the table together, ask him to quickly leave the table and fart in another room, or at least over in the corner.

  • If you're driving in the car together, ask him to give you as much warning as possible so you can roll down all the windows!

  • Hang out with other people; he will be less likely to fart in front of company than when he's just alone with you.

  • Remind him to exercise- it will get the farts out outside the house!

Remember: the loud farts usually don't smell as bad... it's the "silent-but-deadly" ones that you need to watch out for!
